ABOUT MICHAEL
Passionate Hospitality Professional
Micarlgan Hospitality Principal, Michael Lynch, is a top performing and
solutions-driven professional with over 30 years of experience managing hotel
operations, guest relations, and financial performance. His experience helps
properties develop highly effective sales/marketing strategies that help deliver
positive results for his hospitality clients. Michael has the ability to motivate all
levels of staff – from management and line-level to owners and investors – by helping to create a vision and environment best suited to your guests’ satisfaction.
Michael was most recently Managing Partner of Sebasco Harbor Resort, where he worked side by side with Maine hospitality icon, Bob Smith, a recipient of the Masters of New England Innkeeping. He started as a meeting/event planner in the sports industry and has worked at some of the finest resorts in New England including Sales & Marketing Director roles at the Samoset Resort and the Mountain View Grand (on the pre-opening/post-opening team), Sales & Marketing/Operations at the Cliff House Resort and 15 years as the GM/Managing Partner at Sebasco Harbor Resort – which was sold in April 2022.
Michael is a Past President and Active Board Member for the New England Inns and Resorts, Past President for Meeting Professionals International – New England Chapter and other boards and committees throughout his career.
A New Hampshire native and Maine resident for more than 20 years, Michael was fortunate to have his three daughters work with him in hospitality throughout their teenage and early adulthood years that resulted in a strong family work ethic that continues to this day. Each of his children often remarks that they use aspects of hospitality in their adult careers and are forever grateful for what the industry has taught them.
